Ordered some pizza while in town... Delivered right to the door... Great pizza, but some thought it was spicy... I enjoyed it. Plenty of toppings and not over greasy.

Ever since the new owner took over this place has stepped up its game. The pizza is sooooo good. The sauce is spicy with a kick. Awesome sausage and other toppings. They are always friendly when you call. Nice amount of cheese on the pizza. Some of the best you can get in town. Yummy!

The best pizza in the Twin Cities. The sauce is flavorful and robust. The sausage is phenomenal. Nothing else to say that hasn't been said.

The service and food is second to none since new ownership has taken over. I eat there every Friday night and it is delicious!

Good thin crust pizza with quality ingredients. Try the homemade sausage, for sure. The cheese is plentiful and stringy. Why anyone would order Pizza Hut or Domino's with this place in your neighborhood is beyond me. Delivery is fairly quick and pleasant.

Decent, but not great. While Savoy-like, with lots of cheese and sauce, the similarities end there. The sausage was surprisingly bland (where's the fennel and garlic, guys?) and the all-important grease factor was nowhere to be found. It just lacked flavor, except for... The sauce: One thing I love about the original Savoy is that their sauce is decidedly NOT geared toward kids (how refreshing) due to its ample spices and generous tomato paste to sauce ratio. Unfortunately, this location misses the mark; there is actually too much tomato paste in the sauce, to the point where it had an acrid flavor that quickly became unpleasant to me. On top of that, there were little if any other flavors... it just tastes like plain, tart tomato paste with a dab of sauce thrown in to make it spreadable. The crust was similar to the original, which is to say that it's decent and gets the job done. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. Certainly not a bad pizza, but I'll keep looking.

We just moved into the area and needed some pizza to thank our helpers for carrying all the heavy stuff we own. I grew up eating Savoy on W. 7th and figured I'd give this a shot. I knew it couldn't be as good, but I hoped it'd be decent. I was pleasantly surprised! While not quite the original, it was a pretty good representation and we devoured the whole thing. It's close enough that when I need some Savoy I won't have to drive downtown any longer. $16+ for a large pizza with 1.5 toppings (my SIL doesn't eat green olives, whatever). The person on the phone assured me that by ordering one large instead of 2 medium, I'd get the same amount of pizza but spend less so I went for it though I was skeptical. Well, I wouldn' t say it was the same amount of pizza and 4 of us ate it all and probably could have eaten a little more. Oh well, lesson learned.

Pretty decent pizza, stringy cheese, pieces cut in squares for maximum cheesy realization. They made me a custom gyro pizza with gyro meat onions tzaziki sauce for dipping.
